Raj Sharma is a highly respected Information Security and Technology Executive with over twenty years serving in progressive roles within the Information Technology field. Most recently, Raj served as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Canopy Security a Ford backed business and at Novavax. At Novavax Raj established and operated their world class cybersecurity program and was entrusted for the safeguarding of corporate assets, protecting employee and external research data for all trials and studies in the US and Europe.
As CISO, Raj set strategic direction while communicating risk and the value of security to a broad audience including C-Suite leaders, Board members, business users and stakeholders. Prior to becoming CISO, Raj’s career at has encompassed many industries. He was a senior leader at Microsoft, Oracle, Walmart, Cisco, GlaxoSmithKline and Wells Fargo.
Throughout his career, Raj has been recognized for his ability to lead others with integrity and respect. Raj has served as a leader of diversity and inclusion groups many of the companies where he has worked.
